All of the issues discussed here so far are not "really out there" for me.
However, I do have ONE. One thing that happens in the movie that has got me perplexed... and it's such a small thing.
In the opening sequence, when Ben and Anakin are in their Jedi fighters and get bombarded by "buzz droids," why doesn't Ben just Force-push the little beggars off of his ship?
This is the only real crinkle in the story for me.

Here's an explanation that occurred to me. Perhaps, in order to Force push/pull something, a Jedi requires an atmosphere of some sort. He uses the air molecules to push or pull an object from/to him. There's no air in space, therefore, Ben could not use the Force to remove the buzz droids.
What do you think?
