This is yet another reason why i think the whole patent system in general is a farce and a joke.

Yeah, we need to lose the myth that the patent system mainly protects small inventors from having their inventions stolen, and realize it's now turned into an anti-competitive club to bludgeon smaller companies who don't have the money to pay for a legal battle.

Hoover sued Dyson trying to do this, and almost bankrupted him. I doubt I'll ever buy a Hoover again.
