I have been using rug for the last couple of days and I finally remembered where I saw this before.
back in the redhat 7.x days I use to install ximian gnome and this what their red carpet package management system was based on.
rug isn't that bad - I am geting good response out of it and I still haven't found any problems with it.
I am kind of starting to like it and all the options it presents. I use to use it a lot back in the ximian gnome days.

The whole ZENworks thing is still buggy, sluggish and slow, for any one trying out SUSE 10.1, I'd strongly recommend installing Smart and using that, as it is, in my mind, just as good, if not better, than Debian's apt.
