Just wanted to share something I thought was kind of cool... hey, I never said I wasn't easy to amuse.
A couple of days ago I installed my copy of Return To Castle Wolfenstein on my Kanotix box. Now, I don't know if this is a result of Kanotix or KDE 3.3.1, but for the first time, I could play RTCW under KDE without any lags or "hiccups" whatsoever.
Usually with other distros I've used on the same hardware, I had to log in using WindowMaker or ICEwm in order to get good smooth game-play. To be honest, on other distros I usually logged in with WindowMaker anyway.
But, hey, KDE under Kanotix seems to run very well.
