Magnatune Free Song a Day

This is stretching it to include Magnatune as a linux topic, but I love this music service, and they do work with Amarok, after all.

Does anybody else take advantage of the free song of the day RSS feed they have? It's fantastic. I'm a classical music lover, so today's pick of Dvorak's Violin Concerto in A is splendid. What a great company.

They will ask for your email address, though, to warn those who don't care for that sort of thing. I think it a fair trade of my info for great music, though.

i have subscribed and i get an e-mail everyday about downloading a song, and its always the same song even though the link is to a different artist.

You should - they've always been super quick to reply to me email, especially when it's in reference to an issue like that (or the amarok multiple purchase issue when 1.4.4 first came out).

Also, I'm making CD's for friends, and making sure to write on the label of the CD case in big letters:

I love Magnatune, and hope they just keep doing better. I hope that others are similarly minded, or have thought of even more clever ways to promote them through this sharing.
