App. of the week suggestion

How about Mondo Rescue? I use it to backup my system and have actually used it once to recover my HD (this was when I was first learning Linux and unknowingly wiped my HD data).

Others might find it useful, too.

That's a good one. Ideally I would like to set up a system, use mondo to back it up, and then perform the restore. That for me will be a couple weeks off when all other things are out of the way for a bit. Unless Allan or Linc want to step up with a spare machine?
