Doesn't surprise me. Unless Miguel has changed his opinion over the last year (I find that unlikely, since he wasn't able to do that in 6 freaking years!), he's still one of these ignorant people who view Qt as non-free software. Yeah, Qt sure is under an evil license, it's that horrible GPL license that covers it, oh my god!! Miguel ought to go have a chat with the FreeBSD guys, I'm sure they would have a healthy conversation.

Or the OpenBSD guys. Based on everything I have been reading on misc@openbsd.org and based on the recent fallout over the atheros code license issue, some of the OpenBSD guys, and Theo especially, have a strong distaste for the GPL. In one recent mailing list post Theo even said he would not even quote the GPL any more.

Yeah, I should have said OpenBSD, I guess spending 6 hours in the commandprompt of an OS before posting a forum post kind of makes your thoughts default to certain names, 'ey?
Well, people have their preferences, I don't think this whole "license war" is that much different from the "KDE vs. GNOME" debate.
In regards to that Atheros saga, I think the Linux kernel guys were stupid people in that story. Hey Chess, you think we might be hearing a song about this one?
