Slides 2 video is a neat little app where you can have different transitional effects for each image, with some music to accompany it. I have had a look to see if you can do this on digikam , fspot , gThumb and a few others but digikam does not have a choice for each different image transition, only choice is the colour of the background.. the others don't have any options at all.
It can output to various video formats so its ideal for when you want to show family or friends holiday snaps or a present .
