New PowerPC workstation from TerraSoft

TerraSoft, the makers of Yellow Dog Linux, have begun offering a pretty nice high end PowerPC workstation. It's a tad pricey at $1895, but it fills that hole left by Apple moving their PowerMacs to Intel. It also beats out Apple hardware in the open source compatibility category. It contains an XGI graphics card with open source drivers, as well as IBM OpenFirmware. It's no slouch either, with Quad-Core 2.5GHz IBM 970MP processors.
