Stickam+N800

Has anyone gotten the N800 to work with stickam? I tried the bridge method that I read about on the tablet forum. Did not work. Of course I probably screwed something up. I am using diablo on my N800.

no the webcam driver doesn't suppor the access that flash do. Usually you can do streams if you have VLC there is a wiki on this.

So you can stream to another machine running VLC. I'll have to try that out at some point. I'm waiting for wizard mounter to be fully functional in Diablo. Apparently not all the dependencies have made it into the Diablo repos. I got xmame working last night and installed vpnc, pidgin and abiword.

I saw these two and they seem to imply that the n800 can stream. This is what I tried and could not get to work. I have emailed but have not received any response.

I use my n800 to watch movies while commuting. The built in media player does not work for me as well as mPlayer. I used one of the chinook repositories(extras I think) to install mplayer. Worked like a charm. I don't want to install much until the repos are rebuilt, but if there is something you really need. I have read on the forum that 99% of the chinook apps work without issue. Here is a extensive list of repos for chinook. I used many of these before I did the upgrade.

Just a little new information. It appears that if apps have been installed using the chinook repo and they become available in the diablo repo they are upgraded to diablo.
