Please post any questions you'd like us to answer on the new FAQ page. Is Allan really a vampire? Is Dan really that gassy? Anything really.

How many of you guys still use slack?

plone

I would like to know how to setup apache2 to run plone using the proxy pass and proxy reverse apache modules.

I can get it to work but in the client browser I still get the port number showing what zope runs on after I click a link on the site from the main page and I don't want that to show. because after I bring up the original page and click on a link I don't think it is going through apache anymore. so maybe I just don't have the proxyreverse setup correctly.

if there is any other way to do it I would like to know maybe using a redirect command in the apache.conf file. but I want to always go through apache both ways - full duplex.

but if you could post a apache.conf file showing how to set it up it would be greatly appreciated. I have been struggling with it for a while. Right now I am strickly running zope on port 80 which I don't think I want to do (haven't had any problems yet) .

thanks,

James M. Susanka

For the FAQ page? I think this is a topic to cover during the show.

ya I kind of was thinking that - sorry - but I did put it under topics for a show and maybe you could get the guys from the plone project at plone.org.

Could that go into the faq? :) I already knew but some people might not understand if it's brought up in future eps.
