I've started using Firefox 1.5 beta. It's been very stable, and it's much quicker

Neither of these things are yet packaged for Fedora, and therefore they do not exist. :D

I'm sure my friend yum will put these cool things onto my system when it thinks I'm ready. In the mean time, I'll try to ignore it.

I tend to stay with distro packages too, but in the case of FF, I chose to make an exception. The tarball is self-sufficient, and I just have to drop it in my home directory somewhere. Doesn't mess with the distro's package and you get all the latest browser goodness.

I haven't seen any difference between 1.06 and 1.07. It is supposed to be a security update so that would explain why.

Firefox really annoys me now. It's slow and crashes A LOT. I like to open 8-10 tabs at a time, which is no chore for my comp but if I do this Firefox crashes within 1-2 minutes.

We need a speed improvement Mozilla!!!

Yeah, glad I am not the only one seeing this. This whole crashing thing annoys the shit out of me. So much so that I have taken to using/trying mozilla proper, konqueror, and the newly free Opera as well. I sure wish the team on Firefox would get it fixed because I really like the browser. I like the layout and functionality, but I simply cannot stand having to restart my browser over and over while I am trying to use it to get some coding done - or worse yet, reporting at work..

In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded - Yeah right...

You might want to check out the sessionsaver extension It saves whatever pages you are viewing so when you close it or it crashes just open it back up and you can just continue where you started. I havn't had firefox crash much if at all but this extension should help you deal with it ;-)
