Patrick has been nice enough to mention the Ohio Linuxfest several times during the last few shows. I wouldn't expect the TLLTS crew to drive all the way to Columbus, OH for a 1 day event, but I was wondering if anyone here is local and will be going?
It's this Saturday, October 1 in Columbus. See their webiste at http://www.ohiolinux.org/ for details. They've got some good speakers including Aaron Seigo and Jim McQuillan. There are people coming from Ubuntu, Apache, IBM, Novell, HP, Symphony OS, and others. I'm too lazy to go into details, so look at the web site.
The conference is free, but they allow you to register on the site so they can better gauge who's coming.
I'll be driving up from Cincinnati and my uncle will probably be joining me. If anyone else is attending and wants to hook up or something, post here. I'll be doing my best to take good notes, and maybe I can make some of it available online when it's all over.

The talk on Ohio Linuxfest and TLLTS cockroaches made me dig up this thread. I thought I was the one who started promoting Ohio Linuxfest 3 years ago, but it turns out it was Pat.
Proof that TLLTS has done a lot to promote this conference.
I remember going for the first time that year and feeling pretty lonely. The last couple years have gotten better and better.
