Pat & Dan,

I tried out Ubuntu Karmic Beta on my master backend last weekend and MythTV .22 is in the repositories. Unfortunately I was not able to get it fully operational and had to revert back to my previous setup. This was due to my error and not Karmic. I want to give it another try this coming weekend.

For those wanting to do a Karmic Beta install, I highly recommend a package called Remastersys. With Remastersys you can make a live install of your current working system, including all installed applications. After my failed try with Karmic Beta, I was able to reinstall my previous working system in about one hour.
