Nexenta GNU/OpenSolaris

This looks pretty interesting. It's basically the Debian packaging system with the OpenSolaris kernel. From the screenshots I've seen, it looks pretty slick. Maybe when I get another machine next month, I'll give it a whirl.

For the first time I've seen a GNOME desktop and went "That looks OK", interesting approach to use the Solaris kernel, hmmmm, what benefits does it add over using the Linux kernel?

In Episode 38 of LugRadio, they interview Adam Leventhal from Solaris, who explains a few differences between Linux and Solaris. Worth a listen.

Are SCO Unix or AIX open source? Maybe you have some information we don't.

Hehe, no I don't, but you never know, maybe IBM will open source AIX someday, who knows? Heck, Sun open sourced Solaris for crying out loud!
