This show showed some of the limitations from Skype and some debian based distros like Debian, Ubuntu and issues from the audio frameworks such as old versions of oss make them not very reliable as opossed to using a more improved alsa framework.
Anyone have more information about what is going and not going in Skype and Linux stuff.

The Linux version of Skype is hopelessly outdated compared to the Windows and Mac versions, which I'm kind of pissed off about, the single only reason I like Skype is because it's crossplatform, and now they're adding video support which could remove a barrier to get some of my friends' girlfriends to use Linux. I don't see it as unforeseeable if the Linux support was dropped.
