Tuesday, I guess. I'm still up for it, I have Skype and Gizmo installed, just give me a time and date I'll be there.

I don't think Tuesday is a good day because its in the week, at the weekend, more people are available at the same time....

I believe gizmo is actually a project by linspire, hence linux releases are regular and with line with the other versions.

I was aware of that. Skype for Linux is at v1.3 while the Windows client is at v3.1. Talk about getting left behind. Devon was suggesting that Gizmo was giving us the same treatment. It's closed but at least a Linux company is behind it. For some people that's not enough. Personally I don't have a problem used something that's closed until a better F/OSS alternative exists.

Not yet. I will check it out. Looking over the features it's seem to be a standard SIP client with good chatting capability. While it's good that it's Open it currently doesn't have as many features as Gizmo. The ability to record your calls is a big deal. At least to people who do interviews and podcasts. You guys are free to use anything you want. It seems there's no consensus. Maybe you guys should appoint a benevolent dictator to get the ball rolling?
