Whisky Tango Foxtrot? What's the point of https on the forums?

The point is I get sick of having to change the link to https each time I log in to the admin interface from outside my network. And since I am lazy, I tripped the switch so I no longer have to manually do this. Lately I have had to spend a lot of time hitting the admin interface to approve or delete new accounts. Spam is a bitch!

I'm looking for a way to just make the logins https, and not the entire thing. If it is a problem for people I will return it to unsecure.

Speaking of which, where is the Hoagie Guy?

Why don't you guys recruit a few trusted listeners to help with the spam and junk?

Man, I can't stand to see spam on this great forum; it drives me nuts and I immediately want to go in and delete it.

Of course, to whom do you give admin rights? And do you do it just because someone like myself is impatient? Probably not, but if it would ease some of the burden for the Tech Show hosts to do other things, then I'm sure some of the regulars here would be more than willing to help. I'm certainly willing to help, though I'm relatively new, and there are probably a few more guys here who have seniority and such who would do well. Just make everyone promise not to get upset if they aren't selected as admins. :D

Hmmm. The we are at an impasse. I guess we either close the forum or make everyone an admin
