I've been in "beta" for the Information Technology Students' International talkcast for the past month and a half. As Linux and Free/Libre/Open Source Software will be regular topics, there may be CS/IT students or anyone else interested that are also regular Tech Show listeners as myself. This week it'll be about Enterprise Volume Management System, Logical Volume Management and some filesystem comparisons.
The show is live Fridays at 02:30PM GMT, 09:30AM EST.
The Talkshoe service is still to have its Linux chat client (probably this month), in the meantime there is a workaround by using the windows binary. I've been having to use the "superior" Apple product version
I highly recommend using the SJphone VoIP client for free calls to talkshoe (Linux, Mac and Windows binaries), instead of using skype credit. Here are configuration instructions for dialing in. If you know of a better (and F/OSS) VoIP client that works with talkshoe (multi-platform is important), please let me know so I can announce it on the show.
Hope to hear from you.
