Bootable MP3 Player

Post by CptnObvious999 » Sat Jul 09, 2005 12:19 pm

Most BIOS's detect my mp3 player as a portable harddrive and can boot from it. So I want to be able to put Knoppix, PHLAK, and maybe even a custom distro on but I could only put one on unless I could make a GRUB menu or something so I could choose which distro to boot off. Im not good with GRUB so can anyone tell me if there is a script somewhere to do this for me?

You might have the best results with Damn Small Linux right now. They have a version that boots from thumb drives, so I figure this would work for any usb storage device.

I have gone to the DSL site but I can't figure out what to download for my mp3 player. Which file(s) do I download?
