Sabayon Linux 3.2a.miniEdition.iso won't boot :(
Has anyone gotten this to boot? I have tried my (verified) disk on 3 boxen, and it bombs out in one way or another on all 3. I thought it would be fun to give it a spin for shits and grins, but it's proving to be obscenely difficult to even get it booted.

Yeah, md5sumed it and it's fine. I don't get any errors, it just freezes in different ways. On one box it just never gets past the "loading sabayon linux" splash. On another, it hangs at the xgl/aiglx choice window. On my lappy the screen goes black as one point, and never comes back. So, no errors to speak of. On the box I want to load it on, I've tried even "text install" and it still loads the splash and freezes.
Weird.

try booting it with the following flags: "genuine noaccelmanager acpi=off" that should force it to use the opensource drivers, disable the accelmanager window, and turn acpi off (which can cause problems sometimes). If that doesn't work hit Alt+F1 or F2 after the kernel is loaded and see what step it stops at, you might be able to hit I and manually control which services it starts.
