I know some people like Daylight Saving Time, but I think it's a nuisance, resulting in increased traffic fatalities, unnecessary complexity in computers, and now, wasteful government spending since they've currently extended DST
and plan to have a study produced about whether it actually did any good. You can bet that study will bear all the marks of wasteful government spending and bureaucracy. I'm not just vehemently anti-government, but this seems to be one of the areas where it makes a mess of things with no benefit. I'm starting to become a morning person, and don't like to have my morning daylight taken away so I'm forced drive to work when the night is still black as pitch. And now, we have DST for about 9 months of the year? Why bother going back to standard time at all?
