Thanks TLLTS!

Post by JazzDan » Tue Mar 13, 2007 2:59 pm

Hey forum members,

I'd just like to thank the TLLTS guys for their tremendous dedication to the show. As a Linux newbie, I do find Chess' show very helpful. But soon after I discovered this show and it has 'engrossed' me in Linux. I listened to my first episode and thought "Wow, some of this is over my head." but then decided to grab the bull by the balls and take the plunge. I'm glad I did. I've learned a ton about the Free Software movement and Linux in general. And the show is just plain fun to listen to!

Thanks for putting on the show!
Dan

Yeah - and what other linux show also exposes you to The Church of Fudge, Lemon Parties, and meatspin.com??? You just don't get that anywhere else.

I had a dream last night that my family and I were going to meet the TLLTS Guys, (that's how engrossed I am), but when we got to the house where they were supposed to be, we learned that they skipped out to attend a nearby auto show.

Yep, great show.

I had that same dream, except in mine, they all skipped out to a Tim McGraw concert. Bastards.

You know one of these days, someone is going to mention Tim McGraw one too many times during the Tech Show, and Allan is finally going to explode and kill everyone.

Linc: What's the gun for, Allan?
Allan: ...
(stream cuts out)

Either that, or Tim McGraw will call in to thank everyone for the free publicity. Then Allan will really explode, if you know what i mean.

You're welcome. Glad you like the show. We enjoy doing making them every week.

Do we really need to bring that up again?! Some things need to die a quiet death.

That's seems more realistic than going to an auto show.

All that anyone needs to know, I guess, is that there is no bigger Tim Mcgraw fan than Allan. He drags his wife all over the east coast to see him in concert. He's part of the Timmy Touchers fan club and melts whenever he get's close to Mr. Mcgraw.

For the record, Allan can't stand country music and would rather listen to the mellow relaxing sound of fingernails being drawn across a chalkbord.
My wife is the big fan of Tim Mcgraw.

Allan SPEAKS!!! Allan posts in the forum!!!

Okay, someone wake me up, I must be dreaming. Did anyone else notice the grand total of 17 posts for the TLLTS HOST.

Seriously, Allan, deserves a break from the Timmy stuff. He has taken far too much abuse. So thanks Allan for posting and setting the record straight.

Allan posts in the forum as often as he makes blog posts (once every 6 months or so). We goof on each other but honestly Allan is a stand up guy. Definitely someone you can depend on.

I love the show too, but what worries me is Linc. Tonight you need to have an intervention with him. If you have read his blog, he is becoming equal to the cat lady on my street. Only with Linc, it will be ferrets.

Linc, I don't want to see you on the news being escorted out of the house with 200 ferrets in your posession.

Just kidding bro, hope your sick one gets better.
