I kind of figured that you wouldn't but it's a nostilgic thing perhaps for those who did have one. I never had a commodore either but that was a time when there were several different companies that had personal computers to choose from and I had one of the other ones.

This isn't the Commodore of old. That company died a long time ago. It's some other company who purchased the rights to use the Commodore name. Move along, nothing here.

They look like nice boxes, though. I have to admit that I'm a little confused about who their target market is - sweet commodore em games on a badass(ish) gaming box. Also, as has been pointed out, how many people even remember commodore any longer? I never owned one, but I messed around on a PET, a 64 and an Amiga. We spent hours and hours and hours on that PET when I was a kid.

Agreed. Same thing has happened before with countless other brands - Atari is another that comes to mind.

The personal computer marketplace is a very different place to what it was all those years back when Commodore was a leader but I wish them best of luck.

P.S Yeah, I did own a C64 and loved it

I'd like to note that I owe the Toronto Public Library about $10 in late fees for the commodore book because of this show. Grr.. good book though.
