it might be me but it seems like windows sure has a lot more serious zero day exploits than linux.

its just gotta be because windows is more popular. :lol:

Windows is really bad operating system, its rushed out to make the stock holders happy.
They could easily of taken BSD components and made a better system like mac osx.
The only reason people use it ,is because of the applications that run on it.

If you get all of them to run on linux/bsd your see the popularity shoot up.

Supposedly some versions of Windows do use the FreeBSD networking stack, and I'd imagine Microsoft has borrowed alot of other code as well.
