Python is like linux, python have distros but is a distribution in a difference place. is more like an implementation.

Extremely geeky talk about Pyhon and how it runs right now.

From Python-C, to Pypy passing by Parrot VM, Jython, IronPython and so on.

This is a most hear for all python entusiast. But also for newbies I guess it will sound overwealming but is the key why this language is so flexible.

btw if u using mandriva i suggest to experiment typing:

$ urpmq -i python-XYZ

$ urpmi python-
