Pretty much the same here. We walk instead of biking, though. I also read a lot, whittle a little and work on stuff around the house.Judland wrote:If I'm not working or fartin' around on the computer, I'm with my wife.
We're big movie buffs, like to read, enjoy biking when the weather's nice... basically just spend private time together.

I like to make tllts pasta when I get off work.
1 cup flour
1 extra large egg
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon salad oil
seasonings as preferred.
Tthrow the above in a bowl. stir it into a ball (about 10 seconds at most). It does not have to be perfect. cover the bowl and then throw it in the fridge. Take a nap. After the nap, boil some water with salt added. When the water is boiling, pinch off penny size pieces of the pasta ball and chunk them into the water. the pasta cooks in a minute or so. Fish out the cooked noodles back to go in the original bowl. Add butter or off the shelf pasta sauce. Add your favorite cheese on top. Throw in a can of tuna fish or sliced bologna if youu eant. That beats ramen noodles any day by a mile.

You can throw that mixture into a food processor with the regular blade and blend until it appears "mealy" instead of mixing it. This works beautifully, doesn't develop gluten, and more or less eliminates the need to "rest" the dough.
Shared pain is lessened, shared joy is increased; thus do we refute entropy.

Ham Radio and Scouting
I love participating in scouting events with my son and leading the rest of the boys. It's great fun and I relive my youth a little in a less sucky way (I don't get made fun of too much by the kids unlike when I was a scout....).
