After a year and a half, GPLv3 is finally due this Friday, June 29th.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it myself, bit quite a bit. I've always thought that GPLv3 was a good idea, and the new stuff that I've seen I am all for.

Should be nice to sit down with a cold coke and read through the entire license document a couple of times!

How typical, you're bashing something you've never even used, simply because it's from Apple. While I personally have no interest in a $600 phone, it seems like a cool device, albeit extremely over-hyped.

Guilty as charged. Always have, and always will, despise those superior Crapple products.

More like an initial $3000 investment. $600 for the phone + 2 years of service ($100 a month). That's what you'll be paying to be a beta tester for Crapple!

GPL v3 doesn't excite me much, honestly.

Yeah, it's kind of hard for GPL v3 to compete my love of new gear. The legal system doesn't really interest me near as much as good software. Much as I love the freedom the GPL provides, I'm not going to fall in love with the legal wrangling required to secure that freedom.
