Michael meeks blog mentions his disappointment with sun and they refusal to accept lgpl licensed contributions, he seems to of created a fork from it.

Its pretty sad that Sun cannot imo appear reasonable, the community is still waiting for java, solaris and a shit load of hardware specs...
I agree they deserve praise with what that have brought to the table, its just not everything :P

Not surprising at all. This one been brewing for some time now. Doesn't the Novell version contain a bunch of customizations and tweaks?

I think so , they do push there code upstream.
