Easy wireless in Linux

Can anyone recommend a pcmcia wireless card or usb dongle that would just simply f***ing work right of the bat when using in any Linux system.

I'm to lazy to research and just wanted to know to of your recommendations.

I do, the Asus SpaceLInk WL-107g: http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=12 ... odelmenu=1
It uses Ralink's RT2500 chipset and has fully open source drivers which are included in virtually every distribution. I use one of these on Fedora 7, and NetworkManager works great for switching between networks and such. The cons of this card is that the antenna isn't the best in the world, and it doesn't support WPA2, just standard WPA with the TKIP encryption mechanism is supported.
This card is also supported by all of the BSD systems, which I personally like, but that's just me, of course.
If you use Ubuntu Feisty, this card won't work with NetworkManager, I don't know about Gutsy, but I have used this thing on both Fedora 7 and the beta versions of Fedora 8, and it works great.

you could use a card that uses the atheros chipset, there are free drivers and it works fine under network manager

Fedora 8 is the only distro I know of right now that will be including that driver, and let me stress that that driver is still in development phases, it works on some wireless cards, and others it takes a total dump on.
