They seem to think it's no big deal even though they cite a survey that showed 55% of people trying to view it online had problems. Even the EFF guy didn't make much of it, and sort of agreed that it's really NBC's fault, and Microsoft is not to blame. Dvorak also predicts that in response to Silverlight, Adobe will retaliate by porting Photoshop over to Linux. His next column will be about that. What a moron!

(MS)NBC NBC is part of Microsoft. Microsoft still bears responsibility for not seeing the implantation done correctly. One of the reasons the news media will not take them to task. Microsoft needs to divest itself of nbc so the truth will come out. On the local NBC news here, before a story gets mentioned about Microsoft they issue a disclaimer stating that they are affiliated with Microsoft by virtue of the ms/nbc union. Though they have not done it recently. We need to get all the linux geeks to contact the fcc and raise the dead about this issue. http://www.fcc.gov/
