I predict AIG will be bailed out with our tax dollars. There are too many on TV saying that if AIG were allowed to fail it would be too destabilizing to our financial system. The writing is on the wall. The Capitalists are in full PR mode getting their message out. The message we should be receiving from this is really obvious though. It's Nanny State Capitalism for the big Capitalists, but laissez-faire free markets for the rest of us.

And now it's a done deal. The Federal Reserve is giving AIG $85 Bil for an 80% stake. I don't expect we will ever get any of those tax payer dollars back. Enjoy the bailout.

haha, he didn't. That would be creepy. No, I've really not listened to his programme in a while but last year he kept freeking out about the financial system in the US. I was just saying that maybe he was right. He was getting all insane about it way back though. Not sure if he still is talking about it though. I don't have cable so I don't ever see his shows either.
