This was a fun rant to read. He makes some valid points. But even with all of GNU/Linux's shortcomings it still kicks Windows's ass.

Well, Windows is for dumb people, let him go back. Linux works great for me and I couldn't see myself going back to Windows on my desktop or laptop. Using this Windows XP machine at work is sometimes painful, have to reboot it daily, has strange quirks, lacks a lot of nice touches I have with Linux. Besides, even if Linux had some issues, I'd still use it over Windows because it's free and open. Some people just don't get the bigger picture with due appreciation.
