Having fun p*ssing off XP users

Post by Judland » Mon Nov 07, 2005 10:35 pm

I'm having a blast on a forum discussing Linux vs XP. Well, I'm trying to discuss, but the patience of my XP opponent seems to be wearing thin. :D

He/she doesn't seem to like the idea that I'm rebutting the idea that XP isn't easier to use than Linux.

Stop in, if you curious. I can't wait for his/her next misguided response.

I've had the same problem on Linux forums. It seems that "Linux is hard to use" and "Linux is hard to install" are so ingrained that even in our community people aren't willing to see the facts.

An entertaining read. The one guy was bitching about printing multiple pictures on his photo printer without borders. If would be easy to do in linux if the hardware manufacturers provided all the driver API's. Unfortunately they don't and the community has to reverse engineer everything. I'm just waiting for the new version of Kantotix to come out (any day now) before installing it on my dad's Dell machine.
