Scanner ?

Post by spotslayer » Tue Aug 10, 2010 4:33 pm

I am looking for a scanner that I can use to scan old family photos into digital format. Will anyone recommend a linux friendly scanner? I would like one that I can just plug in and work. I have two handme down scanners that won't work. One just will not work and the other I need to jump through hoops to make work. I don't want to F with it, just use it.

I have a Canon LiDE 60 that I've had for about 4 years that's always worked out of the box with any Linux distro I've used.

Can't speak about a scanner only, but most HP Photosmart printer/scanner units play well with linux.
