It's a wonderful tablet, but unfortunately the viewi angle is terrible.

I got mine and installed Cyanogenmod7 on it and overall I am pretty happy with it. you are correct the viewing angle is horrible, its almost like having a privacy filter on it. so far it beats my wife ipad as most of my apps are free and flash is working. now i just need to get some streaming setup on my backend and i will be set. the batter life on this thing is amazing , even better the the ipad.

I'm glad that there are now mods that make it useful. I tried one and was advised by viewsonic to return it because they were having terrible firmware issues. While I noticed the view angle and it did bother me, it was the lack of faith by the tech in his own product that had me wanting to drop it like a hot potato. This was mid-dec. The mods since then have recued this tablet. I just wish it had a better view angle. I'd rush to get one if it did.
