Hi guys, I am putting together a new myth frontend. I have not done this in a couple of years and have not kept up on the hardware. I need an nvidia card and don't want to over spend. I do not need high def as the tv is old and not high def. What are some of the cheap adapters out in the wild.

I don't even think they manufacture SD only video cards any more. You probably have to get an HD capable card and scale it down to standard definition with a PC to TV converter. I did this with my zotac frontend until I purchased an HDTV for the family room:

HD Nvidia cards that are VDPAU capable are pretty cheap. The one we have on our Amazon market is fanless and sells for $58:

Re: Nvidia card recommendations
Thank's Pat. I knew I was out of touch but didn't realize how far.
