Well, I gave it a shot, but SuSE would not install on my test PC (PII with 196MB of RAM). The installer could not make it past the formatting of the drive part, and it took it the better half of 25 minutes to make it to that part alone.
I'm certainly not scrubbing my main system just to try SuSE out, so I guess I'll put the latest release of Kanotix on the test machine and leave SuSE for the time being.
It's unfortunate that they've made an installer that fails to perform with anything less than 256MB of RAM. Especially since Linux (or KDE for that matter) doesn't need that much to perform anyway.
Oh well... maybe someday I'll have a second PC powerful enough to run SuSE. Not today.
