No no, but just to quote him "I've playing around with GNOME, and I really don't like GNOME", I don't know how he feels about KDE, but SUSE provides a very sweet KDE desktop IMHO, and something that just keeps amazing me about SUSE 10 is the stability of the KDE that's included, before my hard drive died, Konqueror had only crashed once in over 1½ months.
Also, I'm not a SUSE guy just because I live close to Germany, I like it because it pretty much satisfies all my requirements of a good distro, Mandriva is also pretty good, but the thing that I don't like about it is that the software is not "new" enough, I don't want GNOME 2.10 I want GNOME 2.12, even though it was released a few days earlier the SUSE people still put it into version 10.0, I like the fact that SUSE is bleeding-edge but also has a lot of stability in the bag at the same time.
Even though SUSE may not have the greatest multimedia support, it's VERY easy to add that stuff in, the only thing you do is add the Packman repository to YaST and swap out the included Xine packages with Packman packages, install MPlayer, also the w32codecs and then you're in business!
When I noticed that I didn't like GNOME it just made me apreciate SUSE that much more, because they're one of the only distros I know that builds a very very nice KDE centric distro with a GREAT configuration system, seriously, you can install the NVIDIA drivers by checking a check box and clicking accept, same thing with the Microsoft WebFonts.
