I look at it this way. The PS has the games, even though a lot of them are pretty sucky. Sony has cornered the market there. The 360 has no personality; it's more of an engine, churning along but with no real value and not much interesting going on there. It's another piece of MS little or no innovation to capture more of a market.
Now the Revolution is going to be a work of art. That system is going to be dedicated to the gamer in everyone. It'll be innovative, stylish and just plain fun all around.

And I promise you that even though the PS3 is gonna have the same sort of hype, it's gonna be full of freaking DRM, which is something we all hate right?
What I like about Nintendo's plans with the Revolution, and the fact that they are making a "gaming console" and not some kind of multimedia machine, is that by concetrating on the gaming, which should be natural for Nintendo to do, they can make an even greater experience.
Dann does your wife play games? If not, maybe you should try to get her on the Revolution, Nintendo is trying to expand the market to the people they call "non-gamers" like ones wife or girlfrind, grandfather, mother, little sister and I can go on. I think that if anyone can do this, Nintendo can, because if you go back to the days of the NES (I got three of them sitting on my bookshelf
) the games were a lot simpler to play and much eaisier to learn, this I what Nintendo aims to do again.

I agree, same thing is what keeps a lot of people from using Linux, but my experience tells me that once people see why the change is good, they will try it themselves. I think what Nintendo needs to do is show everyone why the new controller is good, and in the US where the FPS genre is very popular, they just need a very good FPS game to do that job, and they ALREADY have one in development
Indeed it's Metroid Prime 3 they are working on, and Ubi Soft are also working on some stuff, Ubi Soft said earlier this year that they fully support Nintendo for the next generation.
Maybe we won't see Unreal Tournament on Revolution, but who needs that when you got Metroid Prime 3, Zelda, Mario Kart, Smash Bros. ???
