Bought ourselves a new digital camera. Now I'm trying to find out what helpful photo organization software I have at my disposal.

I came across PixiePlus and it seems to be a real helpful app. for managing photos and for making quick work of the chore of creating thumbnail photo albums for posting on the web.

I might just have to write up a review of PixiePlus sometime soon and add it to my "Linux tips for everyday uses" page (which I've neglected to update for such a long time).

Is that the photoediting/display app for KDE? I have that on my box but it is called pixie, is there a different version.

Most of the time I use gimp and gthumb, but I am always willing to take a shot at another program. I'll have to give pixie another try!

I don't know if there's a difference between Pixie and PixiePlus.

Up until this point, we didn't have many digital pictures... at least, not enough for me to worry about organizing them.

But, now with the purchase of a new digital camera, we're taking pictures of just about everything

Now, I'll need a good photo organizing program.
