recent arch upgrade avahi vs. nss-mdns

recent arch upgrade avahi vs. nss-mdns

If you're having trouble upgrading your arch/kde box, and see this message when doing a pacman -Syu:

Code: Select all

:: avahi conflicts with nss-mdns. Remove nss-mdns? [Y/n] 
followed by

Code: Select all

error: this will break the following dependencies:
  nss-mdns: is required by kdelibs
check out this mailing list post. It'll save you some headaches.
