Programs I need to learn better

Post by Patrick » Wed Feb 08, 2006 11:49 am

We're all lazy by nature. Can you list any F/OSS programs that are cool that you don't know enough about but want to become proficient at?
Here's my list:
GIMP
Wink
LiVES
Cinelerra
Blender
Inkscape
Ardour

Out of the list I'm most likely to learn wink and GIMP.

I also liked Jza's idea of Samba. I've been screwing around with that and NFS
lately.

Also, Pat - thanks for the show preview post on LXER (I don't know if you've been doing that all along, but it was cool to see it pop up in my LXER feed.

I really want to learn PHP. Started doing so, but could I ever use the skills if I had them right now.
