church/school site down

just wanted to share this funny experience

my church/daughter's school site has been down going on two weeks now -

it basically was used for pamphlet ware - ie church bulletin - school calendar no logins or interactivity - etc

time and time again I have voluteered my efforts to move on to linux/apache and use some kind of content management server - but no I have been constantly shut out and told everyone is just moving to windows anyway. it's more like what the sheeple will follow. I am sure there is some kind of kick back invovled because the guy who is doing has some kind of hosting business - but I am not sure what exactly. I know the ISP he uses has been flagged as a big spam isp -

yawn - my site has 98.707% uptime since july 17 2004 - of course I just use home built pc's using ha failover - but what do I know everyone is switching to windows.
