doesn't get anybetter than this.

I move my prediction back to xmas 2007 from april 2007.

what the heck are they doing - it's not like anything really comes with windows - there is no web server not ssh server - it is still your basic standalone game piece of junk os.

I see chairs flying around redmond.

Hehe, this summer should be quite sweet for Novell when they launch their Code10 products, and the more time Vista is delayed, the more Novell can make itself heard, and maybe get some eyeballs interested.

I feel release of Vista can come at anytime, completed or not. Microsoft has used it's customer base as beta testers with all of their previous releases, so why think it would be any different now?

I don't think Microsoft cares about Vista all that much anymore. They know the real action is in web services, and they're making some moves in that direction. Ultimately it doesn't matter what OS you're using if you just use your PC to access GMail, blogs, and podcasts.

Edit: For those who didn't read the article, Microsoft has not announced another delay. This is just a Gartner prediction. I think I'll predict Vista will ship in 2009. :D

Oh yeah, and now the content creators finally have proper protection for their creations (music, movies).

it's about time! I can finally stop running these inferior OS's and get down to business with a true power horse. I just have to sell a few things first to raise some money for the OS and the hardware. How much are kids going for on the black market? Oh and one slightly used wife.

I think you might be able to figure that out on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thailand

At first glance I read that sentence with a very alternative word beginning with a "p" instead of "wife". And yet it's still not right.
