Screw that

Post by Simulcra » Thu May 11, 2006 5:41 am

Guys, don't listen to those fuckers who want you to conform to some "broadcast standard" and change YOUR show to appeal to the dickhead masses. Fuck those sheep bastards. Don't ever change the show or SELL OUT. It is because of the adhoc, garage band style, is the reason I tune in.

I agree that the show is good the way it is.

The only thing that was said (here in the forums, at least) is that to increase the audience, the sound quality will have to change. The quality is the chief complaint I hear. Again, I support the decision to not post-edit the show and accept the quality the way it is.

The sound levels are much better over the last 4 or 5 shows, though. I no longer have to turn the volume all the way up on my system just to hear the show. :D

I agree on both counts: don't change a thing and the sound levels lately have been excellent.

You guys have been going strong for a helluva long time. You're my favorite Linux podcast to listen to so I wouldn't want you to change at all. If it ain't broke and all that.

Keep up the good work

Based on last night's show, I especially like the new Mac OSX topic.

Maybe it's time to consider changing the show format to Mac.

Maybe you need to do some more work on forum security if you want to keep out spam.

Well, you'd have to change your name to Minc, otherwise the show's title just won't sound right.

Well the sound quaility of this podcast in comparison to M$ technet is way over the top. You would figure that a company with the stash that MS has would have a much better sounding podcast but they don't. Not to mention how boring they are. Dan, Allen, Pat and Linc, you do have the best podcast on the net.

It's not me. I thought it was odd that you posted this, but figured, hey what ever.

Whoever posted it posted through a comcast ip using your id, unless there is a hole in phpbb that allows people to post as other people.
