fast booting 64-bit live distro

Masters of the Distros -

What would you recommend for a fast-booting 64-bit live distro? Damn Small sounds perfect, but I don't see a 64-bit live version.

Have you tried Ubuntu?

Yes. Ubuntu works but it boots slowly and asks for language and video resolution or some such.

I'm not sure if there's a boot code to go to a terminal like "ubuntu 2". I think that's what it is for Knoppix.
