While you have our sympathies this is not the place for those postings. For the most part we try to stay on topic. If Jordan was someone most of us knew then it would be appropriate. Sorry.

thanks.

We don't all live in your town.

Look, I understand "off-topic", but there wasn't 1 byte transmitted.
My post simply "disapered"

I have ran many web communities.. and I never "deleted" someones post.. out of respect.

I like you guys, but your practices are odd.

EDIT: spelling (again.. arg)

I have to agree with Pat here. This isn't really the place for things like that.

The reason I posted *here* is because I could vent (much, much needed) out if the way of the big press.

(never think I don't like this community)

The big press has been (shall we say) A*holes.

I would reccomend that in the future, if you were you del a post, you PM the person as to why.. I didn't know if it was a personal thing, topical thing, or technical... and noone would tell me.

This post was in the Lehigh Valley LUG forum, about a Lehigh Valley LUG member (apparently). How is this off topic?

HRM.. good question. Looks like an ebkac. I think you understand my point, if you don't.. you're obviously not a parent.

Look, these things are hard (and lead to hurried conclusions). Having someone bust on you about minutia is not helpfull.

Feel free to PM me if you'd like to have more info. Alternate viewpoints won't hurt my feelings.. so don't feel unable to speak your mind.

I thought this forum (separate from this community) was open to use for *us* to BS about things, but I can sort-of understand the issues, so I'll prefer PMs from here on out.

I don't even know who Jordan is. And if the 'big press' is involved and won't be considerate of you, are you suggesting that this place doesn't attract attention?

If the big press is repressing you, and the moderators here repress you, are you starting to see that maybe your opionion is not wanted? Or maybe it goes deeper and this is an outlet of the big media and they are only here to keep you down?

Yes. At least to our local news. I have never seen the headline "according to TLLS..." (come to think of it, not on the nationals either)
If the big press is repressing you...
They aren't repressing me, I have refused to talk to them after seeing the way they misconstrue (sometimes) and parapharse to the point of uselessness.
and the moderators here) repress you...
No, I honestly think they don't want to get into it, seeing their tech-focus.

Look: story was.. I was upset & POed. I posted here(EDIT: where I feel like I have a few friends) looking to vent. They deleted w/o telling me why or if it was in error. That is as big as the "conspiracy" gets. No biggy.

I 90% understand their point, and I got a lot of relief out of just typing it.

EDIT: Can someone say "sorry to hear that, bud." and leave it at that? That's all I wanted out of you all.

EDIT2: Yes Pat, that means I liked your "sorry". Thanks.
