I don't care much for Apple's business practices, but they make pretty slick hardware, and a damn fine OS

There Pat, I said it.
Woohooo! Now to get Allan and Linc in line!! :)
Well, I do like my mac mini. It's a nifty little machine - a bit underpowered though. I will say that if I actually used it anywhere near as much as Dann uses his powerbook, I would probably have the same opinion he does. As it is, I am iritated it's taking so long to get a Linux with native emi support out. I want to try Linux on that thing so bad, but I think it's silly to have to do boot camp, etc., and hack the install to get things going.
I will say this: Debian on my iMac and g4/500 with 1gb of ram makes for a *very* nice machine. Apple hardware has always been cute. OS X is usable - better than windows for sure. Still, my work during the day is done on a Linux machine, and that's what I use at home too.

Let alone be the fact that the distro that will be the first one to have that is a distro I highly doubt you'll like :P .... Fedora Core 6.

We'll see. Really doesn't matter though. First one to do it goes on there.
