I have worked with a few older laptops (two of them being my own) and when you only have 4GB hard drives in them, 3GB for system files doesn't leave much room for other stuff (hence the USB external drive on my laptop server - see "gear pics").Linc wrote:Also, that full installation has never taken much more than 3gb, and it's relatively hard to find a drive that small these days
Modern equipment.... not a problem. It's the older stuff that makes it a challenge sometimes and I'm cheap, so I try and get as much mileage out of my existing hardware as possible.
